Setnet Tennis Academy was founded in November of 2005 as a tennis club with the idea of developing a tennis school and introducing children to sports.
In 2005, a team of young, enthusiastic former players with extensive experience and knowledge in the field of methodology and psychology of sports in working with children and younger competition categories was gathered. Over the years, our player base has grown and the first results were visible in 2008.
As our players grew with us, we also grew as a club. The expert team tried to adapt their method of work and approach to each individual within the group.
The last 20 years we have witnessed constant changes in the field of training, recovery, nutrition, and mental preparation of tennis players and we have continued to adapt our method of work to follow the trends.
With an analytical approach, we came to know which way of working gives the best results and thus created the first generation of our competitors and future champions.
After four years of successful work with younger players, in 2010 we got the first champion of Serbia under the age of 14, which was a turning point in the development of the club. From that moment until today, many players have passed through the club, leaving an indelible mark in the history of Setnet. Number of players and results has placed us among the best clubs in Serbia and Montenegro, and in 2011 Setnet received the award of the Tennis Association of Serbia for the best club that works with youth.
Since its founding, the club showcases more than 400 trophies won by our players at tournaments in the country, across Europe and the world from the ITF and ETA calendars (eight titles of Serbian champions, European champions under 16, five ITF titles under 18). many titles from the ETA calendar and one ITF pro $ 15,000 title…). Over time, these same players have built their professional and international careers, which has increased the credibility of Setnet, as a place where knowledge and skills are acquired.
We are also proud to point out the college program segment, thanks to which over 50 tennis players went to study throughout the United States, where they successfully and proudly compete for their universities.
